Life again imitates art

The ages old adage of "life imitating art" has been realized again. The artist is painted as the tormented soul seeking purity in his/her craft. The outer world concerns such as bills, food etc. being this ever imposing obstacle. The craziness is that most artist don't have patrons to sponsor their efforts and arrange openings or premieres with the white wine set. So what to do? The music scene has again given us the folks who dress up in the urban gear(if that's what it's supposed to be) talking about street credit, and getting paid. Whereas the work is assembly line candy and video close ups of tats and perms with Blond streaks trying to give off the everyone look. LOL. With ninety dancers grinding out of beat to plastic beats. Point is that the industry is making an effort to package the struggling artist product. Truth is folks are out of work. Barely eating and scrambling for the bones of survival. Better get real or get going. Can't eat mp3's
